Backyard Blooms sells cut flowers in bouquets and CSA flower subscriptions, and at farmer’s markets. We also sell our blooms by the bunch to designers, and we provide flowers for weddings and events.

Bouquets

We’re happy to create a bouquet for you for special events or to enjoy at home. Our creations are filled with blooms freshly picked from our field and are arranged with love and whimsy.  Small bouquets are available in mason jars. Medium to large arrangements are available in a variety of vases. All are made on request. Contents vary by what is in season each week.

You can also find our popular tulip bouquets at a variety of local outlets: Silverman’s Farm in Easton (late April – May), the Trumbull Farmer’s Market on Thursdays in May, and at Pure Poetry Gift Shop in Trumbull on May 10 & 11, where we’ll have special Mother’s Day tulips available! We hope you’ll stop by the location that’s most convenient for you, support local businesses, and scoop up some of our uncommonly beautiful tulips. Most are so full they resemble garden roses or peonies!

Flower Subscriptions

For 2024 we are offering a new Bouquet-a-Month subscription from June – September, to be picked up at the Trumbull Farmer’s Market on Thursdays. Each month you’ll receive the best of what’s in season in one lush bunch. Each contains our unique, heirloom flowers and greenery.

Farmer’s Market

Find us at the Trumbull Farmer’s Market on Thursdays, May – September, where we have a selection of blooms you can buy by the stem. We also have bouquets and mixed bunches of flowers for sale, wrapped in paper and ready to put in a vase. Stop by and see what’s in season; we’d love to meet you!

During market season you can preorder a market bouquet to ensure one will be there for you!

Come visit us at Twin Brooks Park, 4-7 PM on Thursdays, May through September.

Wholesale Flowers

Our seasonal blooms are available to local designers and florists and can also be found at the Connecticut Flower Collective. All our flowers and foliage are sustainably grown on our farm in season. Much of our focus is on flowers that are difficult to import so that we can provide you with unique varieties that are hard to source elsewhere. You’ll find our blooms to be fresher and higher in quality than those that have had to endure shipping.
